Bube's Brewery is an intact 19th century brewery and hotel complex now functioning as a dining, entertainment, and (once again) brewing complex.
Bube's Brewery includes:
The Catacombs-- the brewery's original lagering cellars are several stories underground and are now the Catacombs Restaurant. Fine dining is offered seven evnings a week, private groups can be accomodated (you can have your own Catacomb!) and on Sundays and select Fridays a special entertainment dinner called the Feast is offered by advance tickets. Come to a Medieval, Roman, Gypsy, or Pirate Feast, or seasonally the Halloween Feast (dinner with the Count) or the Christmas Feast (Kris Kringle, Jr. has just taken over as Santa and is throwing a party - and you're invited!). Please see the Bube's website for dates and times.
The Bottling Works Pub-- the brewery's old bottling plant is now our casual dining venue with live music on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, Bube's Karaoke on Sunday evenings, and Team Trivia on Tuesdays. Once a month the Bottling Works hosts a special theme party which is always a very lively evening. Lunch and dinner is served seven days a week.
The Biergarten-- the brewery's original working yard is an outdoor dining venue that serves the same menu as the Bottling Works and the same hours. The Biergarten features an outdoor pool table, a giant outdoor chess board, and a fire pit on cool evenings. Groups can be accomodated in a special private area in the Biergarten.
Alois Restaurant-- the original restaurant in the old hotel at Bube's Brewery is the venue for the Bube's Murder Mystery Dinners. On Saturdays and select other days come to a very entertaining event with full dinner included (please see the Bube's Brewery website). The Alois Restaurant is also available for private group functions.
The Brewery-- Bube's original brewing license went inactive in 1917 but was activated again in 2001, and Bube's has been brewing some very fine ales and lagers since. Please come try some beer brewed at a monument to brewing history!
Also at Bube's -- The Brewery Gallery features monthly changing art shows by artists from the region, The Cooper's Shed displays original barrel making tools and offers souvenirs for sale. Ghost tours of Bube's are offered every other Friday at 10:00pm and are often hosted by Jean Ellis, Mr. Bube's great granddaughter (call to reserve).
